About the position
You will work as an outsourced accounting support professional, assisting clients in managing their day-to-day financial operations, with most clients based in Australia. You will ensure financial accuracy through reconciliations, data verification, payroll/tax support, and accounting process coordination. You will also assist clients in using accounting software effectively and help improve workflows for smarter and more efficient financial management aligned with accounting practices
What You'll Do
- Perform day-to-day, month-end, and quarter-end accounting tasks, including recording transactions, maintaining ledgers, and ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting and tax regulations.
- Support accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice entry, payment tracking, and basic reconciliations.
- Work with clients to reconcile data, resolve basic issues, and support improvements in accounting processes.
- Assist clients in using accounting software, supporting setup, data entry, and smooth system operation.
- Support payroll and tax-related tasks, including basic data preparation, checking, and administrative support.
What You Come with
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Auditing, Finance, or related fields.
- Experience in manual bookkeeping.
- Familiarity with accounting software; experience in software implementation is a plus.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with clients and teams.
- Detail-oriented, responsible, and organized.
- Good English communication skills (both speaking and writing).
